very good food and a very comfortable place- wish i lived closer- it would be a favorite
the chef has a touch for exceptional food. service was o.k. more average than professional. the fireplaces were going on a rainy night and basically had one of the best meals ever in connecticut. f.p.
Heard that it was "old fashioned"... it is unpretentious, but food is some of the best we've tasted... comfortable atmosphere.. friendly service
