A Taste of Indonesia is Las Vegas' first and only full-service restaurant to specialize in offering the unique taste of Indonesian cuisine. The restaurant was selected by Las Vegas Life magazine (December 2003 edition) as one of the Vegas 100 – The Very Best of Our City under the appropriately named category "Best Asian Cuisine You've Probably Never Tasted." Located at 5700 West Spring Mountain Road, Suite A, the restaurant not only boasts of a unique and subtle ambience but also extraordinary food – all of the dishes are authentic. The restaurant brings to the table a Far East Asian cuisine previously unknown and unavailable to the Las Vegas area. Popular dishes include Ayam Bakar (spicy grilled chicken), Satay (chicken, beef, pork or lamb on bamboo skewers), Rendang (stewed beef), and Pisang Goreng (fried bananas). A Taste of Indonesia also offers Rijsttafel – a Dutch tradition involving a cornucopia of Indonesian dishes surrounding a mound of steam rice. We also serve a special Vegetarian Rijsttafel for our vegetarian guests. Because of the amount of extra time it takes to prepare a Rijsttafel, reservations are recommended. Rijsttafel is a great way for a small group to try a variety of Indonesian dishes. Enjoy the exotic flavors of authentic Indonesian cuisine at Las Vegas' only Indonesian restaurant, offering something different for those daring enough to take a culinary adventure. For a unique dining experience try A Taste of Indonesia today.
