adä occupies two floors of a four story brownstone located between 2nd and 3rd Avenues on 58th Street. Double pane of glass spanning the two stories along with brass work marks the atrium where gem like ornaments are displayed - hand blown colorful murano chandeliers.

The dining room consists of banquettes wrapped in cool silver and gray fabric. As far as the walls are concerned, the owner David R. Shah has long felt that dance is an expression of 'style and elegance - adä". Hence, the walls are decorated with bas-relief work which consists of various sculptures of dance poses which were posed for, sculpted and then hand painted after being mounted on the wall. Additionally, Pickard China, Guy DeGrenne flatware, Rosenthal votives and fine crystal fill a room adorned by a wood buring fire place that creates an ambience which is best described as serene.
