We built Old Glory to capture the authentic food, flavor and feel of the great southern barbeque restaurants of the US. Old Glory has a robustly friendly feeling, reminiscent of the wonderful "hole in the wall" that you happened into on a southern road trip, or that special "joint" somebody told you about in west Texas or Memphis. To salute the essence and diversity of our nation's regional barbeque styles, Old Glory offers genuinely slow cooked meats, an array of regional barbeque sauces and dry rubs that reflect the styles developed in some of our country's greatest barbeque locales. Specializing in authentic regional barbeque, Old Glory serves the best ribs in DC with both our falling-off-the-bone back ribs and meaty, smoky spare ribs. All of our meats (pork shoulder, chicken, beef brisket, lamb and Virginia ham) are smoked in-house over hickory logs by our own Chef DeBlois.
