The Florentine Restaurant Group, Inc. is owned and operated by key management employees. We have been providing Northern California with the finest in Italian home style cooking for over 35 years. The popularity of Florentine's has been established by a commitment to serve the freshest, highest quality Italian food to its customers.

In 1964, the first Florentine Restaurant opened in Cupertino, California (it's still there today). As the reputation grew, new locations were added; Mountain View in 1978, and in 1984, the Florentine Pasta Factory was opened in Saratoga to meet the increasing demand for the company's products.
Throughout the late 1980's and early 1990's, the store expansion continued; retail counters were added in each location, allowing customers to purchase uncooked products for preparation at home, as well as hot food to go.

Following a period of retrenchment in the 1990's, the restaurants were purchased from the founder through an employee buyout, in July 1998.
Subsequently, a re-focus on customer satisfaction and food quality has allowed Florentine to resume its positive growth. Today, Florentine remains committed to providing you with the highest quality Italian home style cooking (whether full service, takeout, or catered) and friendly service, with nine locations throughout the Bay Area and Northern California to serve you.
