Foreign Cinema's schtick is that it projects films on an outdoor wall. The indoor setting is modern industrial -- large and spare, with the kitchen visible from the dining area. The real draw is food, which marries the best elements of Southwestern and Continental cuisine: herb-encrusted fish and meat dishes, some French and Italian sauces used in unexpected ways, unusual sides such as French butter pear, oysters when in season, and specialty cheeses.
