Decorated to recall the Southwestern Depression – using polished red oak and terra-cotta tile and pictures of the day to day western life from circa 1930 for the effect – the restaurant opened by the brothers Fred and Jim Parker offers American food. The menu has steaks, hamburgers, seafood, sandwiches and other options, but the specialty of Hard Times Café is chili, made with four different recipes. Catering service is offered.
