The South Austin Grill is one of a chain of Tex-Mex restaurants that has won a devoted following thanks to the lightness of its crispy chips, fried in fresh oil and served with two salsas. Other contributions to customer satisfaction are grilled fish, marinated pork chops, carne asada, crabmeat quesadillas and a stew of green chilies, chicken and potatoes.
