Buns in the Sun

Service is awful, slow and super un-friendly. I called my order in ahead of time to avoid the ridiculously long wait at this place. Upon arrival & paying, my husband was told he STILL had to wait for the plate (although there was a plate that looked suspiciously like our order sitting on the counter.) After 20 minutes of asking, and getting looks like he must be stupid, he opened up the plate, and it was in fact our order that had been sitting there the WHOLE time. Yay for a deliciously COLD breakfast*sarcasm.* The order was buiscuits and gravy, which used to be MUCH better. It was just OK. Gravy tasted like something out of a package, and was not very good. Buiscuits were dry and overcooked. I'm pretty sure my sausage was cooked in a microwave. Used to be a great spot to eat, but has gone downhill significantly. Prices are way too high for the portions you get and food is not that great. Maybe I'll just go to Starbucks next time...their pre-made breakfast sandwiches are more appetizing, and cheaper!!
